Virtual Tinkering School Workshop: Build your Own Wooden Robot Kit

Looking for a fun activity for this coming Family Day? Our Tinkering School instructors have been working hard on the perfect take home kit for your little ones! They’ll have the opportunity to build their own wooden robot and join us for a complementary virtual workshop where we’ll build our robots together. This fun kit is perfect to keep busy this family day and make something totally awesome!

This kit comes with all the materials you need to build the body of your robot, including fasteners, pre-cut recycled wood, and a re-usable cloth bag to store your creation. No tools are needed to assemble your robot, however, we encourage you to get creative with whatever you have around the house to customize your creation!

Kits will be available for curbside pick-up only with our friends at Maker House co. Once you have purchased your ticket you will be contacted with detailed curbside pick-up instruction. Kits will be available for pick-up starting February 8th.

The accompanying virtual workshop will take place on Monday February 15th, at 11am via Zoom. Workshop details will be communicated by email after registration. This kit and virtual workshop is available for kids 8-12 years old.
