The OTL is located on the second level of the City Centre building within Makerspace North (MSN) at Bay 216 on the back (west) side of City Centre.
Driving and Parking
Take the ramp at the south side of 250 City Centre (left if facing the bakery), beginning near the Orange Art Gallery. There is some parking near Bay 216, but it’s best to plan for a drop off outside the doors or park at the front. There is parking in front (east) of the building, the first 90 minutes are free. Consult the sign.
OTL is one kilometre from the Bayview transit stop or about 500 metres from the #11 bus stop at Somerset & Preston. There are exterior stairs at the south of the building (closest to Somerset) or you can walk or wheel up the one of the driving ramps, either at the north or south sides of the building, but there’s no sidewalk – watch for exiting cars.
There’s a manual door at Bay 216 and once inside, another manual door to access the warehouse and OTL, which is all on one level. During open hours at the OTL, you may ring the bell at our back door, labeled with our sign, under bay number 208. Someone will open the door for you – there are no more doors once inside.
The bathrooms nearest OTL are gendered – but explicitly labeled to include all those who identify within either M or F – and there are two stalls inside each, both too small for many mobility devices. There is a larger, single stall washroom that may fit some mobility devices near the kitchen.
There are generally loud noises and dust at MSN, as it’s a shared work space.
