The Ottawa Tool Library (OTL) provides this online gallery for its members and supporters to submit details of their own personal ‘Do-It-Yourself’ (DIY) projects—using tools, knowledge, advice or assistance from the OTL—to be featured on our website and social media. By submitting your project, you agree to the following terms:

  • Content Submission: By submitting your project, you acknowledge that you’re the creator of the project featured in the submission, and grant us the right to use, reproduce, and publish any details, including images and descriptions, on our website and social media platforms.
  • User Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that the content you submit does not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights. [If you are a rights-holder and believe your information is erroneously included in the gallery, please contact us with details.]
  • Content Moderation: OTL reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any submitted content that violates our guidelines or is otherwise deemed irrelevant or inappropriate for our gallery or website.
  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold OTL harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your submission.
  • Changes: OTL may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website.
