This course is for anyone who wants to use the following tools in our WorkSpace: router, planer, and table saw.

You will receive training on the safe handling of these tools and also learn how to set them up for your own usage and work project. The instructor will give an overview of the jointer as well and if there is interest in an extra short workshop on that tool, we will offer that.

We will review safe practices and do demonstrations with safety equipment and jigs to assist you with these tools. You will have time to practice using the tools and changing bits or blades for the router or table saw.

You can still take this course if you’re under 18 years of age, just contact us, so we can send you the proper waiver beforehand.

Every workshop attendee gets a free day pass to our WorkSpace (value $20). Pass needs to be used within one month of this workshop.

All course participants need to be fully vaccinated and show proof at the beginning of workshop.

Mask wearing is mandatory in our WorkSpace as all participants will be in an enclosed space at close range.

Please dress appropriately for working in a woodshop: closed-toe shoes, hair tied in the back, and no loose clothing.

For more information on our WorkSpace and when you can use it to work on your projects, check out our webpage.

Note:

Workshops are transferable to another person, but non-refundable. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
