Want to learn how to handle power tools safely? Come for an evening to learn new woodworking skills while making a wooden cutting board.

Come to the Ottawa Tool Library where you will receive training on the safe usage of the following tools: band saw, mitre saw, drill press, and drill. You will have ample time to try out each tool and end up making a wooden cutting board.

This workshop is only $5 and will be held in the WorkSpace of the Ottawa Tool Library. Please don’t book a ticket until you have confirmed that you can attend on January 29th. Space is limited and we want to give as many people as possible the chance to attend.

Parking is available in front of the Tool Library. If you use OC Transpo to get to and from the Ottawa Tool Library on the day of the event, the cost of the OC Transpo tickets will be reimbursed.

This workshop is part of the Crafting Connections Project supported by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
