This workshopis perfect for those who want to reduce waste and bring their upcycling skills to the next level.

Throughout the class, we will learn tips and tricks about upcycling design and create our very own functional home decor piece. Don’t miss this opportunity to join a community of environmentally-minded individuals who are committed to making a difference through creativity and resourcefulness.

You willbe taking home a unique rack for your home or cottage (for coats, hats, keys, bags, etc.).

Heather is an innovative industrial designer and entrepreneur making strides in Ottawa’s sustainable design sector. She is a maker, problem solver, and the creator of Re4m Design and Fabrication, a company that designs and builds furnishings, fixtures and displays using recycled and reclaimed materials. Heather’s unique skills and keen eye have gained her recognition in the Ottawa Sun, Ottawa Matters and a recipient of the 2019 OBJ Small Business Award for manufacturing, and the 2021 BMO Women in Sustainability Award.
