This workshop will teach your kid basic woodworking skills!
Kids 9-13 years will learn how to make cuts with a mitre saw box, use a bandsaw (under close supervision), learn how to make holes using a drill press, and give it a finished look by sanding it smooth.
The airplane will be ready to bring home and paint or stain the colour of their choice. Your child will have a toy airplane to proudly display or give as a gift.
Your instructors Jim and Nancy team up to bring your kid this fun and exciting workshop. As regular instructors at OTL, they promise to teach your kid how to use each tool safely and provide them with a few tips and tricks!
Space is limited to eight participants.
If you’re not a member of the Ottawa Tool Library, check out the benefits that come with an annual membership here. Psst, you’d get 20% off for this kid workshop.
