Enjoy an evening outside , mingle with like-minded people, drop off a donation, and settle down to watch this documentary with us.

In collaboration with ReCycles and the Ottawa Outdoor Gear Library, we’re hosting an evening to watch the documentary SCRAP, made by Canadian film maker Stacey Tenenbaum.

Discover the vast and strangely beautiful places where things go to die and meet the people who collect, restore, and recycle the world’s scrap. SCRAP scratches beneath flaking paint and rusting metal to reveal the beauty and pathos in the ugliness we leave behind.

Before the show, we will be accepting donations for all of the participating organizations: bikes, outdoor gear, and tools to continue to keep items out of the landfill and in circulation.

Tickets are free, but if you claim one and can’t make it, please cancel. You’re always welcome to make a donation to help us cover costs.

If it is raining we will move inside and since we have a vaccination policy in place for indoor events, you will need to be fully vaccinated and show proof.
