Looking to step up your kitchen game? What better way to show your food some love than using your very own hand made wooden utensils?

This class will teach you to use some basic shop tools so you can master craft your own spatula and pasta ladle. While pretty to look at, you’re not going to want to put that spatula down once you start cooking, it’s just so fun to use.

The pasta ladle comes with a handy measuring slot to get the perfect spaghetti serving for two.

This class is perfect for individuals and couples. So make that promise of doing something together a reality and come on out.

This workshop will use walnut, a beautiful hardwood, for the kitchen utensils.

Workshop taught by Celyn (pronounced Kel-lin, which means Holly in Welsh) who initially set out for a life as a carpenter, but ended up working in union labour relations and finds the OTL to be the perfect outlet for his crafty side. He teaches our monthly Workspace Safety 101workshop and serve as a workspace monitor when he can. Celyn loves to make toys for his nephew, cutting boards , and utensils for friends and family.

Please note that all course participants need to be fully vaccinated and show proof at the beginning of workshop.

Mask wearing is mandatory in our WorkSpace as all participants will be in an enclosed space at close range.

Please dress appropriately for working in a woodshop: closed-toe shoes, hair tied in the back, and no loose clothing.

Note:

Workshops are transferable to another person, but non-refundable. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
