Join our beginner-friendly woodworking workshop and make a portable phone stand (like the one in the listing photo). It is a great introductory project that will allow you to learn some basic techniques using a chop saw, band saw, drill, sander, and a collection of hand tools.
You’ll leave this 3-hour workshop with a simple, but very useful phone stand that easily comes apart to fit in your purse, carry-on luggage, or even your jacket pocket. Great for the office, the kitchen, the bedside table or as a gift!
Instructor:
Stéphanie (she/her/elle) became serious about woodworking during the pandemic, building small things in her garage. Being limited on space and not having access to the big power tools, she has developed skills doing charcuterie and cutting boards, bandsaw boxes, frames, some epoxy work and even kumiko woodworking. She is now merging this new passion for woodworking with her career skills of event trainer and facilitation. Stéphanie’s objective is to make woodworking accessible to everyone, no matter what your skill level or knowledge. She promises a fun and judgment free class that will allow you to ask any question and go at your own pace.
Note:
Workshops are transferable to another person and only refundable if we have people on the waiting list. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
