Still need a unique present for yourself or someone else? Why not some jewellery?

Learn to weave metal the way the Vikings did. In this jam packed workshop, participants will learn the ancient method of Viking Knit metal weaving to create their own unique bracelet – or a fantastic gift for someone special.

Lots of variety of wire colours and findings (clasps, etc). If you choose to use silver coloured wire, you have an option to include coloured beads inside the bracelet.

All materials and tools will be supplied. Participants who prefer to use their own craft pliers and cutters are welcome to bring them along.

Small class and lots of individual attention. Breaks are at your discretion. Cookies and tea provided.

Instructor Kenna McCall is a jewellery artist from Merrickville. She’s a metalsmith, gem cutter, metal clay artist and viking knit maker and owns TerrAdore Art Jewellery. Her work has been featured in international art fashion magazines and she’s won a Global Excellence award from an international luxury lifestyle magazine.

Kenna belongs to several artist guilds in Eastern Ontario, has appeared in many exhibitions and art shows, and her work is sold by three art galleries: Carleton Place, Carp and Perth.

Note:

Workshops are transferable to another person and only refundable if we have people on the waiting list who take your spot. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
