This is a social outing with a fun project while the group can talk about project ideas and how to execute them.

Come create a beautiful charcuterie board in this super laid back workshop. Some elbow grease will be required as you sand and prepare a beautiful piece of live edge piece of wood ( maple or walnut) for its beeswax finish. Make it your own by adding a hole for hanging, rubber feet, or both!

If you’ve taken one of our tool safety workshops so you can use our WorkSpace for a project, but don’t know where to start, come on out for an evening of making while discussing project planning.

Instructor:

Stéphanie (she/her/elle) started to be really serious about woodworking during the pandemic, building small things in her garage. Being limited on space and not having access to the big power tools, she has developed skills doing charcuterie and cutting boards, bandsaw boxes, frames, some epoxy work and even kumiko woodworking. She is now merging this new passion for woodworking with her career skills of training delivery and facilitation of events. Stéphanie’s objective is to make woodworking accessible to everyone, no matter what your skill level or knowledge is. She promises a fun and judgment free class that will allow you to ask any question and go at your own pace.

Note:

Workshops are transferable to another person and only refundable if we have people on the waiting list. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
