Ever considered biking through the winter? Learn from the people who have done it for years.

Riding your bike in winter is more fun, accessible, and safer than you might think. Even with a bit of snow or cold-weather, a quick ride to the grocery store, a daily ride to work, or even a trip to the nearest ski trail can be as easy and as rewarding as your summer rides.

This workshop will set you up with the knowledge you need for safe, enjoyable biking in winter, including recommendations on your bike and gear, clothing choices, and route selection. There will be lots of time for questions and discussion and the opportunity to learn from the experience of others.

This workshop is in collaboration with Ottawa Outdoor Gear Library and VeloVanier.

Note:

All participants and instructors are required to wear face masks during the workshop and be fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination needs to be shown before workshop.

Workshops are transferable, but non refundable. Please make sure this date works for your schedule.
