Get hands-on training on repairing drywall damage.

This workshop is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to successfully repair their own drywall. It caters to individuals who wish to learn the basics of working with drywall, and demystify some of the common repair products and techniques.

We’ll start our session by learning about how walls are built, what’s behind drywall, and how it works. We’ll discuss the products and tools used to work with the material, and then we’ll start to fix all sorts of damaged drywall with a variety of techniques and materials. Pssst… We’ll probably make some new holes and fix them as well, so it’ll get messy. Please dress appropriately.

Instructor

After spending 20+ years working in tech sales and marketing, Dan Auns forged a new career path for himself 6 years ago becoming a full time Home Handyman. From kitchen renovations, basements, decks to attics, he’s worked on just about every aspect of the home inside and out. He’s done large renovation projects that involved drywalling entire rooms and basements, even a garage or two.

He’s always found working with drywall to be particularly fascinating. Most homeowners are reluctant to take on their own drywall repairs, and he’s looking forward to sharing all of his tips, tricks, and experiences.
