Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About a Wood Worker’s Bench

Join others in learning from Rob Suarez, from the Ottawa Woodworkers Association, about the types of workbenches that are most appropriate for woodworkers.

Rob will discuss the various useful design features that can be incorporated into a bench and how those features affect their access and functionality. He will also talk about the different types of accessories that are commercially available or readily shop-built that can make the bench even more useful.

Rob is a professional Red Seal carpenter who has been in practice for more than 10 years. His woodworking journey has taken him from the rehabilitation of heavy timber trestle train bridges in BC to fine home-building projects in the Ottawa/Gatineau area. He has a special interest in the use of hand tools and the design of wood projects.
