This workshop will teach you basic woodworking skills while using the big power tools!
You’ll learn how to mill wood from start to finish by taking a rough piece of lumber through the jointer, the planer, and the table saw. You will then cut your pieces to length, glue them together and use a cordless brad nailer! We will then talk about finishing ideas that you can do at home (painting, staining, decorating, etc.)
Participants will get to build one tree each. The tree will be ready to bring home and paint or stain the colour of your choice. You can get as creative as you want by adding lights and decorations!
This is the perfect beginner project for anyone!
Workshops are transferable to another person and only refundable if we have people on the waiting list. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
