Join us for a hands-on woodworking workshop where you’ll build a square raised planter.

The square raised planter is designed around a readily available plastic insert for easy maintenance and long-term use.

In this beginner-friendly session, you’ll learn essential skills like measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling while working with construction-grade lumber. Once built, you’ll have the option to customize it at home with paint, stain, or sealant to match your outdoor space.

Whether you’re new to woodworking or looking to refine your skills, you’ll leave with a custom-built planter and the confidence to tackle future projects. No prior experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm!

Our instructor, Evan, is an experienced woodworker and educator who is passionate about making hands-on skills accessible to everyone. With a background in woodworking, gardening and teaching, Evan develops and leads workshops on woodworking, home projects, and sustainable living, helping community members build confidence through practical learning. A believer in skill-sharing and resource accessibility, Evan works to connect people with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to tackle their own projects.

Note:

Workshops are transferable to another person and only refundable if we have people on the waiting list. Please make sure this date works with your schedule.
