Tinkering School

The OTL’s Tinkering School provides experiential learning opportunities for kids 9-12 years old with a focus on environmental education and activities that will teach tool skills for the next generation of do-it-yourselfers. At the Tinkering School, kids learn about the safe use and handling of tools while building the skills and confidence to imagine and undertake projects that help them reduce their impact on the environment. Whether they’re interested in woodworking, sewing, upcycling, or gardening, the Tinkering School provides kids with the space to learn and grow.

A Space for Kids to Learn and Grow

The Tinkering School is a supportive and collaborative learning environment with a small child to instructor ratio (4:1). We offer a variety of programming options including day-camps, short workshops, and workshop kits.

Workshops get announced in our newsletter first, so please sign up and/or follow us on social media to be the first to know what we offer. Questions? Contact our Tinkering School Coordinator.
