Boomerang Bags Ottawa will teach you how to make your own stylish, funky, and sturdy bag from recycled fabric. We will provide all of the environmentally friendly materials in a variety of prints; you will choose a kit and put together your own customized market-style bag with an exterior logo pocket.

You will take home improved sewing skills and your very own Boomerang Bag to help you in your eco-friendly shopping!

You will need to bring your own sewing machine (or borrow one from the Tool Library), thread, and scissors. You should know how to thread your machine and stitch forward and backward. If you’d like to use your own fabric, you will need about 1 metre.

Email the Ottawa Tool Library if you need to borrow a sewing machine before buying a ticket.

Let us know if this cost is prohibitive to you and we will work something out.
