Break & Make for Juniors @ Arts Court
Mar 14 @ 14:00 – 15:30

Do you remember the fun you had taking things apart when you were younger? Let your kids enjoy it as well by joining other junior makers between the ages of 9-12 years who want to learn how something works – by taking it apart.

Tool educator Alison Evans Adnani will assist your juniors in this fun workshop. Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to work again!

At the end everyone has a chance to use the parts to make a collage.

Tools and safety glasses will be supplied.

Wake your Bike from Hibernation @ RightBike
Apr 11 @ 11:00 – 15:00

Spring is here, time to grab your bicylce by the handelbars and shake it up to snap it out of its long winter hibernation. Nothing wakes up a drowsy bike like some cold water, lubrication and TLC.

BUY YOUR TICKET NOW!

Come to Right Bike to cycle your bicycle through five bike wake up stations  with friendly staff and volunteers ready to assist you.

  • shower stall (get your bike clean)
  • brake room (check over your brakes)
  • gear pier (adjust shifting)
  • lubrication station (grease and oil)
  • oxygen tank (fill your tires)

Sign up for a specific time or show up and we’ll probably be able to squeeze you in.

Disclaimer:

These stations will help you resolve many of the most common problems that your bike might face to be ready for spring. It’s highly possibly that your bike will need more TLC than we can offer at this event. We may need to suggest that you come back during DIY nights at Right Bike on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. We may also refer you to one of Ottawa’s fine bike shops for a replacement part of mechanics work.

See www.rightbike.org/learning to learn more about training opportunities at Right Bike.
